Crane Authentication unveils discreet, smartphone-enabled authentication system

Hot on the heels of its takeover of De La Rues authentication assets, (see Newsletter 28-05-25)  AIPIA member Crane Authentication has unveiled the InsightPulse™ system, which pairs patented, discreet digital marking technology with an intuitive smartphone app, delivering enhanced supply chain security and real-time insights into counterfeit activity across global markets, it says. 

For brand owners, supply chain stakeholders and customs agents, this on-product authentication solution enhances supply chain security and provides actionable insights into the potential presence of counterfeit goods, according to the company. They  gain full visibility into potential counterfeits in their supply chains, which enables them to generate real-time, actionable verification insights and comprehensive audit trails. 

The system leverages Crane’s patented particle marking technology, discreetly encoded onto products and packaging to make them nearly impossible to counterfeit. Invisible under normal lighting, the marking can be scanned and verified using a standard smartphone camera equipped with their specialized app. InsightPulse™ also integrates seamlessly into existing manufacturing workflows using standard printing techniques, mitigating disruptions to supply chain operations, it  claims.
